Protin
Finnish valve technology
New patented process for coating internal surfaces from Becker Bros.
At last, a new chemical process has been developed to line drinking water-carrying fittings made of copper or brass alloys quickly, inexpensively, permanently and without great effort in such a way that they are water-hygienically flawless and meet the strictest regulations.
No leaching of lead and zinc!
No erosion of copper!
PROTIN® makes it possible:
The combination of an ultra-thin base layer and a 2-4 thousandths of a millimeter thick top layer of tin ensures that even the most complicated fittings are coated evenly and completely. Long-term resistant and without any further finishing!
The advantages of this patented process over others make PROTIN® so tinny:
- For example, it is not as costly as coating the inner surfaces with plastic.
- The use of other materials in the manufacture of the valves would be significantly more expensive, not recyclable or difficult to process further.
